Powser's Reviews

Saddlebag Guard Rails surround the lower portion of the bag, and add a traditional look to your Touring bike. The thick-walled chrome-plated tubing and the elegant cast mounts clamp securely to the Original Equipment saddlebag guards for a seamless look.

Installation of Saddlebag Guard Rails

How I Ride:Touring - Solo
The instructions indicate an easy installation but it appears the bike's shocks must be removed before guard rails can be installed. However the installation instructions imply the shocks do not need to be removed. If they (the guard rails) would slip in place as the instructions seem to indicate it would make the installation easy but someone must have not calculated clearances correctly.
I Recommend This Product.

Powser's Questions

If you want more torque from your Twin Cam-equipped model, this kit provides a freer breathing capability to pump-up the power of your EFI-equipped motorcycle.

What are the benefits for the 2014 Ultra Limited by adding the Stage 1 Air Cleaner Kit

1. By adding this is there any problems with the 2014 Ultra Limited's warranty?
2. How good is the download that goes with the addition of the stage 1 air. The last time I did this on my 2010 Ultra Classic it ran well but I always felt is needed some tweaking to run as smooth as before the mods. Just for information, I would also be adding the V&H Monster Rounds for mufflers if I add the Stage 1 Air to the bike.

Do you have to remove the shocks to get the saddlebag guard rails installed, as suggested by the one review of this product?

It's the only way I can see to install the guard rails. So far I have not installed my rails as I don't want to remove my shocks. If you can come up with another way please let me know.
