This style of body armor comes in pairs, and fits H-D riding jackets and pants that have pockets for body armor. The pockets hold the armor in place very well. My Defender Switchback jacket uses these in both the elbows and shoulders, and the armor is flexible enough to comfortably fit with the contours of the jacket.. This is an easy upgrade for those of you who have H-D riding gear equipped with body armor pockets, found inside the jacket or pants. You also have the flexibility to add armor to your elbows, shoulders, knees or a combination of your choice.

Added this to a Defender Switchback riding jacket, which has a pocket for this style of back armor. Make sure your H-D riding jacket has the required arrmor pocket to hold the back armor. I have not ridden with the jacket yet, and when trying it on, did find the jacket comfortable with the armor.

I was pleasantly surprised how warm these gloves felt in weather hovering around freezing, and how well they worked with an iPhone. For riding, the gel padding is a feature I like very much, and the gloves seemed to block the wind well. These are a good choice for a mid-weight glove, and are comfortable in the car and on the bike.

This high-featured jacket offers a great deal of versatility, and fills the middle ground between the heavy leather jacket and the lightweight mesh jacket I already own. With a waterproof liner that can be worn separately, removable panels that reveal large mesh areas for cooling in warmer weather, venting and body armor for the shoulders and elbows, this jacket has the versatility for changing weather conditions. I also like the adjustability of the waist of the jacket and liner, which can be cinched for a closer fit. The only drawback is the weight, which is heavy as a trade-off for the versatility. I added the back armor, which provides extra protection for the upper back and spine. I'm looking forward to wearing this jacket while riding in the Spring. For the money, this jacket has similar features to high-end jackets that cost twice as much.
I Recommend This Product.

When you remove the outer shell, what color is the mesh material underneath?

RE: Defender Switchback Jacket.
I saw a similar jacket on the dealer's showroom floor. When I removed the outer shell, the mesh jacket underneath was white. I want to confirm that the item on you are selling on your website, has a white mesh jacket underneath before i purchase it. Thank you. Ken Orloff

I just tried one of these jackets on today, and the inside mesh is white in color.
