Cannot figure out how this works with iPod

I bought this harness to accommodate new Tour Pack speakers and also an iPod interface. This cable is not as advertised. I cannot figure out how it supports an iPod - there is no connection for that. On June 2014 the HD response was that the reference to iPod connection would be removed. However to date it has not, in fact an April 2015 and Feb 2016 question response indicated it will still support an iPod connection. How does this or what other cable is needed to make this harness connect to a HD iPod interface?
I Ride: Street Glide
Hey MarkSG,
Thanks for your question.
This harness allows the accessories listed to be installed on the bike, but does not enable the functionality on its own. You would still need to purchase the iPod Interface (P/N 76476-10) in addition to this harness to connect an iPod.

This harness only allows the iPod Interface kit to connect to the vehicle wiring. Hope that helps.

Keep your cool on a sweltering summer day. Engineered to maximize rider and passenger comfort in high temperature situations, the CoolFlow Fan is the perfect addition if your bike is subjected to parade duty, rush hour traffic, or extreme temperature environments. Unlike traditional fan kits that try to cool the engine by blowing air across the cylinders and often onto your legs, the CoolFlow Fan keeps the riders comfortable by drawing the heated air away from the rear cylinder and exhaust pipe, and directing it toward the ground.

question to harley

This is a Harley site when I ask the question will this cooling fan fit my 2015 freewheeler why doesn't a Harley rep answer my question and explain if it will and if it wont the reason why.

Hi moses,

Unfortunately, this cooling fan will not fit your 2015 Freewheeler. The 2017 frame was modified to accommodate the new engine, so the mounting space is not the same. The fan is also integrated with the vehicle’s electrical system, which is model-year specific.

Stay in the saddle all day. The Harley Hammock Bucket Seat features in integrated suspension system that protects the rider and passenger's tailbone from harsh road impacts.

Seat Width?

The description says the Hammock seat width is 16" but under the fitment tab it says the seat width is 17". Which is it?
Hey BuffaloMark,
Thanks for your question. The Seat width is 17.0" and the passenger pillion width is 15.0". I've updated the data on the site. Sorry about that!

Hope this helps.

Original Equipment on '06-later Dyna and '07-later Softail and Touring models, this Automatic Primary Chain Adjuster eliminates the need to manually adjust the primary chain tension at traditional service intervals.

Will this part fit a 2007 Road Glide ?

The fitment list on the main page says it will fit a 2007, but the years given only go as high as 2006.
Thanks, Dom
I Ride: Road Glide
Hey Dom22,
Thanks for your question! This part is actually stock (Original Equipment) on 2007-later Touring models. This is why the fitment only goes up to 2006 fitment tab.

Hope that helps!

This low-profile fuel gauge replaces the analog readout with bright LED lamps. The six edge-mounted LED lamps glow blue when the tank is full, and extinguish one by one as fuel is consumed.

Will this work with my 2007 Heritage Softail Classic

I went into HD store and wanted to order this for my 07 Hertage softail classic. They told me it would not work on a 2007, only 2008 and up. Yet this site shows the fitment as it will fit. Will it or not.
Hey Rebel07,

Thanks for your question. Yes, Part Number 75095-05B will fit your 2007 FLSTC. It's Part Number 75098-08A that fits 2008 models and up.

Perhaps your dealer was looking at 75098-08A when they told you that it would fit 2008 and up.

Hope this helps!

The compact Day Bag is perfect for the daily work commute. The innovative spandex mounting pocket makes installation and removal a simple process.

fitment

Can I mount the touring day bag to a detachable solo rack without a sissy bar ? Some or the reviews state that it flops around a lot . I'm not sure exactly how it mounts , as part of the description it would be good if it showed how to mount it . If it is going to flop around a lot I think that would be annoying . I would also like to know if it holds it's shape ? Thanks !! LA
I Ride: 2010 FXDC
Hey Lafxdc51,
Thanks for your question. Unfortunately you cannot mount this bag to a solo rack. It has to be mounted to a sissy bar. The straps on this bag actually mount around the sissy bar and it sits on the rack. The straps and sissy bar work in tandem to hold the bag in place.

The only bags in this collection that mount without a sissy bar are the Tail Bag P/N 93300069A and Tank Bag P/N 93300040 (which is for XL models).

With regards to shape, they do hold their shape, especially when packed full.

Hope that helps!

Lifting your bike upright and off the side stand is ideal for cleaning and servicing, and reduces the space required for parking - handy where space is at a premium in a crowded garage, a small parking spot, or at a ride-in bike show.

Center Stand does not work on 2014 Limited (FLHTK)

The exhaust pipe and the stand are touching after installation. Also, the boots does not have enough space to properly hold the stand in place to lift the motorcycle. It is almost impossible to utilize this stand on my motorcycle. Is there anything been done to correct this error. The stand on the 2010-2013 did work great on my 2010. I have the stand that I purchased for my 2014 Limited, but cannot use it. Is there a recall on this center Stand?

Hey Rick23,
Thanks for your question. Check out the Installation Sheet located on the More Info tab. Page 2 indicates instructions for adjusting the exhaust crossover in cases where there is contact:
5. Verify that the display stand does not make contact with
the exhaust system. If the display stand contacts the
exhaust system, make the following adjustments in order
until contact is eliminated:
a. Adjust the foot pads to reduce the motorcycle display
height, if possible.
b. Loosen the display stand mounting hardware (Figure
1, items 1 and 2). Move the display stand as far forward
as possible. Tighten the mounting hardware to
specification.
c. See the service manual. Loosen exhaust system
mounting hardware. Move the exhaust system rearward,
if possible. It will not move far. Then tighten
exhaust system to specification.
6. Tighten the jamnuts securely.

Your dealer can give you a hand if you need further assistance.

Designed to provide extra touring comfort for the Road King rider.

the description states that this bar is 2" higher and 1.5" narrower. is this the difference between this bar and the standard bar on the 2014 RK?

I have a 2014 road king f l h r and want to compare the differences.
I Ride: 2014 road king
Hey Tana,
Yes, this is the difference between the Tallboy handlebar and the original equipment (stock) handlebar on the Road King. Hope that helps!
