Cut through the night. Harley-Davidson LED Lamps are brighter and whiter in color and provide a superior light pattern over standard incandescent lamps. Compared to the yellow light of a traditional halogen bulb, the LED lamp produces a daylight color impression that appears more natural to the user.

Love this GPS. Simple to use while wearing gloves, accurate and quick display updates. Nice to have when riding new roads to see what's ahead. Have used the included MapSource City Navigator PC program to map out custom routes and download those routes to the 660. A nice feature to have. HD's Plan your Ride routes can also be created and stored on the 660. And when your not riding on two wheels, having the option to place it in your car is an added bonus.
I Recommend This Product.

Great Tour-Pak Option

I always wanted to have my Tour-Pak lights also act as turn signals, and now with this simple option that can. After installing this simple option, your Tour-Pak lights will blink along with the standard rear signals. The turn lights will alternate from Tour-Pak light to standard rear turn signal light. This options works with original or LED rear turn signal lights. Just another option to help you be more visible.

BEST LIGHTING OPTION AVAILABLE

Do not let the price scare you away from this headlight. This is the best lighting option you can buy for your bike, hands down. The DAYMAKER name suits this light to a tee. This light casts a brilliant white light that allows you to see farther and wider than the stock headlamp. I have the side spots as well on my Ultra Glide and can assure you that you will not be disappointed with how these lights guide your way. The bright white LED also makes you more visible during the day. In my opinion, this is the only light that should be on bikes.
I Recommend This Product.

daymaker headlight

I installed the Day Maker headlight, and it looks like it is pointing at the sky, especially on high beam. I called the dealer and they said to bring it in and they would try and see what is wrong with it. But 80 dollars per hour. Could the adjustment just be off a little, and if it is what is the easiest way to adjust this?
I Ride: Dyna wide glide
Verify that the slots and tabs in headlamp, retainer ring and bezel are aligned. On my Limited, I did need to adjust the alignment after installation using the alignment screws on the mounting bracket. Yours may be different. The instructions call for - Adjust the headlamp alignment per service manual instructions, then tighten the headlamp mounting fasteners to 25-30 ft-lbs (33.9-40.7 Nm).

Here is a link to Install sheet for one of the other Day Maker headlight that shows Alignment procedures. Yours may vary, so refer to the service manual when in doubt.

What are the different cables used for?

Can someone please tell me what each of the cables are used for on the hardwired motorcycle mount kit? I could not find anything describing what each cable is for ... I specifically want to know what the mini USB is used for ...
I Ride: road king classic
Hi Bradley - I believe that the mini USB connector is used if you wanted to attach to a PC to update the maps or languages available. Not sure how practical that is since you would have to leave that connector exposed or easily accessible. I just remove the GPS and connect it directly to my PC with a standard cable to update the maps or any other items needed.

If you are using the Navigation Interface Module (NIM), then that interface may have additional connectors depending on what other modules you may have installed - iPod Interface, etc. So there could be connectors that are unused. I taped the ones I did not use to ensure they kept dry.

Will I be able to hear the instructions through my helmet speakers? My system is the standard for Harley not bluetooth.

I Ride: 2013 electraglide ultra classic
There is a separate Road Tech Navigation Interface Module kit that will connect into the stock HD radio so that directions can be heard over your speakers or wired headsets. Check the related products I listed and choose which mounting option works best for you. The position of the speaker switch will direct where instructions are heard. I keep mine in the center position for normal speaker operation.

I used the Road Tech zumo 660 & 665 Fairing Mount Kit along with the
Road Tech Navigation Interface Module on my 2011 Limited.

Whats the lumens?

2014 Project Rushmore has a 986 dual headlamp, anyone know what the daymaker lumens are, and how much is the difference?
I Ride: Street Glide Special
I have read somewhere that the Daymaker LED is 2136 lumens and the color of the LED is 5500.

is it compatible with aux rear turn kit

Will these LED turn signals work with harley p/n 69461-06c? That kit allows the turn signals to be used for running lights as well as additional brake lights and turn signals.
I have these lights and they operate as running lights by default and increase in brightness when the brakes are applied. They connect into the rear center brake light with supplied connectors. Be careful when inserting the pins into the connectors so as not to reverse the wires. Other than that, you should not need the extra kit to use these brighter LEDs.

daymaker vs daymaker reflector ?

two people responded that the low beam doesn't stay on with the high beam on the daymaker but Harley customer care insist they do. I know the daymaker reflective low beam does stay on with the high. next kuryakyn said harley uses cooling fans on their lights and kuryakyn uses a bigger heat sink. Haley customer care said no fans, any one know the truth ? last the lens on the Kuryakyn phase 7's are polycarbin are the Harley's glass ?

Please look at the two pictures I uploaded of my 2011 Ultra Limited. I have both the Daymaker LED Headamp and Daymaker LED Auxiliary Lamps installed.

There appears to be a total or 4 LED elements, on the main headlight, 3 of which are on at any given time and depending on Low or High beam operation.

Picture 1 shows normal driving setup of the Low Beam and active Auxiliary Lamps (front dash Spot switch on).

Picture 2, shows how the lights change when only the high beam switch is changed. The Auxiliary Lamps turn off and the LED on the headlight changes from top to bottom.

There are two smaller LEDs on the edges of the headlight stay lit regardless of Low/High beam operation. I am not sure I would consider those to be the Low Beams, but the pictures show the operation of the lamps.

As far as the question related to Fans - there are NO fans on Daymaker LED Headamp and Daymaker LED Auxiliary Lamps. I installed the Lights myself.

Hope this helps.

I'm looking at the day maker LED head lights

Does the low beam stay on with the high beam ?
Also I like the look of the Day maker headlight on the 2014 limited.
Now you also have a day maker reflective what is the advantage of both.
my 2005 FDLHTCUI is black cherry anf black pearl the black lights although more expensive would look the best. Keep in mind I'm 67 and my night vision isn't what it used to be and I live in the mountains and drive windy roads. My spot lights stay on with my high beams and I have your aux lights on my crash bars.
I Ride: 2005 FLHTCUI
The low beam does not stay on when you switch to the high beam. And on my 2011 Ultra Limited, the spot lights also switch off when the high beam is turned on. I rarely switch to high beam, and when I do, its for short duration as I find the DayMaker LED and LED spots that I use to provide excellent lighting in most all riding conditions.

Hope this helps.

Daymaker LED Auxiliary Lamps

I have had my lamps for about a week now and they are already fogging up on the inside of the lens. After looking on the internet I realize that this is a fairly common problem. Will Harley cover this under warranty? I would hate to think that I spent almost $400 on lights that will only give me one weeks worth of use.
I Ride: Electra Glide Ultra Classic
I have not had this issue, although I have read about it as well. I would review the following URL and check with your local dealer or HD customer support.

Will this integrate with my Harman Kardon Advanced Radio?

Will I be able to hear NAV commands through my speakers and/or wired headset?

Also, can you supply a bluetooth output for the HK Radio?
I Ride: 2012 FLHTK
On your first questions - You will need to purchase the follow interface to hook your GPS to your HK Radio. Once installed and wired, NAAV commands will be heard through the speakers or headsets. The position of the speaker button is important.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/road-tech-navigation-interface-module?utm_campaign=bazaarvoice&utm_medium=Default&utm_source=RatingsAndReviews&utm_content=Default

On your second question, neither the GPS or this add on interface will provide Bluetooth output for your radio. I am not aware of an available option.
