Dillan's Reviews

This comfortable headset is designed to allow full communication function while wearing a 3/4 or full-face helmet. The stylish plug module clamps to the base of the helmet and positions the adjustable windsock-equipped boom microphone for the best sound quality.

How I Ride:Touring - With Passenger
Bought this product for my wife and I to use in our open face helmets. Installation was fairly easy and the music and intercom/CB all sound great. We are having some issues with comfort possibly due to new helmets, this product, or our heads:). Make sure you get a comfortable helmet that accepts this product first, then integrate this product. Harley could improve this product by adding some padding to the speakers.
I Recommend This Product.

Protect your iPod from the elements, and keep it out of sight. Just route your iPod Interface Cable to the saddlebag, plug in your iPod, and forget about it.

The best thing about this product is that it is out of site and your iPod/iPhone can be secured in the saddlebag. Goes with the iPod kit. Well worth it!

The Boom! Audio iPod interface allows you to access your iPod playlists, artists, songs, and albums while you keep your hands on the handlebar. Just plug in your iPod Nano, iPod Touch or iPhone and hit the road.

Recommend that you get the saddlebag mount kit with this product too. It is so nice to have this integrated with the bikes sound system. Very easy to operate while riding!

How I Ride:Touring - With Passenger
I purchased this windshield for my 2013 FLTRX after success with the windsplitter windshield on my street glide. I'm a very tall man and finding a windshield that looks good and sends the air up over my helmet and my passengers helmet has been a challenge at times. This one does the job! The windshield is fairly easy to install yourself and I recommend that you get the chrome trim piece to go with it. The one thing Harley could improve is to darken the tint a little bit. I know this is probably a legal issue as most people have to look through the windshield, but us tall dudes have no problem looking over it.
I Recommend This Product.

Love the look of your bike but hate the appearance of your state-mandated license plate? This stylish Curved License Plate Frame is shaped to hug the contour of the rear fender, and layback design reduces the "in-your-face" look of the flat, unfinished plate.

I have used this license plate frame on my street glide and now my new road glide custom. Its a little bit of a challenge to install yourself but with a little patience you can do it. Very solid construction and the amazing thing is that it doesn't rattle or rub against the fender. Great job on this one Harley!
I Recommend This Product.

Is there an Apple Lightning interface cable available and/or will the Apple converter work?

The IPod nano uses the Lightning connector. Can I get a native lightning connector? If not, will the head unit work with the Apple converter that converts from the 30 pin to lightning connector?
I Ride: 2013 Street Glide
The iPod kit comes with a 30 PIN plug. Apple sells a 30 PIN to Lightning adapter, which works well and costs about $20. To my knowledge Harley doesn't have a lightning connector yet. Would be fairly easy for Harley to update the kit. Hopefully, that will happen soon!
